EASA2020 logo16th EASA Biennial Conference
New anthropological horizons in and beyond Europe
21-24 July 2020 in Lisbon
ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon and ICS-Institute of Social Sciences, University of Lisbon

Through a generous award from the Wenner-Gren Foundation, more than matched by EASA money, funds are being made available to support delegate attendance. In addition, this year EASA is also offering separate funding to support delegates who decide to choose a more sustainable way of traveling to Lisbon (e.g. by land/sea), rather than by air.

Each eligible delegate may apply for both general support and low-carbon travel funding or just one of the two.

  1. General funding is intended to partially cover delegate expenses on travel, accommodation and registration fees.

  2. Sustainable travel funding is intended to cover travel expenses for delegates opting to use lower-carbon forms of transport (train, bus, car-share) instead of air travel.
