We are verypleased to announce the call for papers for the special issue of= =C2=A0Arts=C2=A0devotedto =E2=80=9CArts and Refugees: Multidisciplinary Per= spectives=E2=80=9D, guest editor MarcoMartiniello, Centre d=E2=80=99Etudes = de l'Ethnicit=C3=A9 et des Migrations (CEDEM), Facultyof Social Sciences, L= i=C3=A8ge University (Belgium).

Special issue information
The specialissue examines the relevance of artistic practices in current de= bates about theintegration of de facto refugees in Europe and also in the a= ctual integrationof refugee artists in the social fabric and in the artisti= c scene.
Papers lookingat the role of arts (music, theatre, literature, etc.) in the= solidaritymovements in favour of refugees in European cities are welcome.
Papers examiningthe trajectory of refugee artists and their strategies in o= rder to claim aposition in their new society and their artistic scenes are = also searched for.
The papers cancome from different disciplines and different theoretical per= spectives (socialmovement theories, social mobilisation theories and cultur= al participationtheories), preferably with a comparative dimension.
