Deadline for Scholarships to attend the 'Urban mobility after COVID-19' course at the University of Oxford

A gentle reminder that the deadline for both the PhD Scholarship and the Diversity Scholarship to attend the seco= nd edition of our 'Global Challenges in Transport : Urban mobility after CO= VID-19' course is on the 25th of January 2021.
The 'Global Challenges in Transport : Urban mobility after COVID-19' is the= new 5 weeks fully online executive education course by the Transport Studi= es Unit (TSU) at the University of Oxford (22 February - 26 March 2021). Th= e course builds on the experience and networks that the TSU has established= via running its popular Global Challenges in Transport Programme, which since 2012 has attracted hundreds of= transport decision-makers and researchers to Oxford to discuss the future = of transport.
The course offers completely new original content, putting together the lat= est academic research in transpo= rt and mobility studies in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the s= ame time, the course offers many opportunities for interactions and network= ing. The first edition was attended by professionals and academics from 25 = different countries!
Lectures will cover key topics such as:
- dealing with the challenges of decarbonising transport,
- the promises of smart technologies for transport,
- the future of hard and soft infrastructures, and
- multi-level governance for changing transport systems.
Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the challenges they are fa= cing in their work and research with world-leading experts, taking this as = a unique opportunity to network with our international Alumni and link with= a world-renowned University.
After attending the course, you will also be able to become part of our liv= ely Alumni community and you will be eligible for a 20% discount towards an= y of our residential courses.
