Invitation to submit your audiovisual works to SIEF 2021 audiovisual programme! > Deadline Feb 1, 2021
Dear colleagues,
Roger Norum and I are in charge to convene this year=E2=80=99s = audiovisual programme at the SIEF conference in online-Helsinki, which = will take place from 21 to 24 June 2021.=20
The conference theme is =E2=80=9CBreaking the rules? Power, = participation, transgression=E2=80=9D, and our call for audiovisual = projects departs from these themes, asking for submissions that play = with the rules of image and sound production, calling also for hybrid = forms of authorship, defamiliarised formats of presentation and = countered hierarchies of production, or that tackle the broad conference = theme contentwise.=20
With this email, I wish to invite you to submit your films, photographs, = audio works, digital installations and other web-based or digital = formats to be screened during the conference. We will also have online = Q&A sessions and discussions with (film)makers.=20
The deadline for submissions is on Feb 1, 2021.=20 An international and diverse selection committee will be in charge of = the selection process.=20
