Dear colleagues,
We are looking for a candidate for a PhD in Transnational Labour Mobilities= in Southeast Asia, as part of Associate Professor Megha Amrith's ERC-funde= d project, WELL-ASIA, which investigates the expanding and lucrative wellne= ss industry in Southeast Asia, and the transnational mobilities and inequal= ities associated with it. The PhD position, based at Maastricht University'= s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, will conduct ethnographic research w= ith migrant workers employed within Singapore=92s expanding wellness and we= llness tourism sector, within a multi-sited team project.
The PhD will be supervised by Megha and myself, and we are seeking someone = with ethnographic and qualitative research experience, willingness to work = in a collaborative team environment, and interest in exploring audiovisual = and multimodal research methods.
