Dear everyone,

On behalf of the organizing team of the MIGRAPRIV seminary (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales), we are honoured to send you the call for communications for the following year 2026/2027 attached to this email.

The MIGRAPRIV workshop gathers young researchers, PhD students and researchers in migration studies. The aim is to create a space for interdisciplinary dialogue that examines the concept of privileged migrations and to provide a new perspective on migration-related inequalities at both the global and local levels.

To open the workshop up to international exchanges, most sessions will be held online once a month on Tuesday afternoons. Communications can be submitted in either French or English. Sessions will also be organised according to the languages of the presentations.

Guidelines for submissions

Proposals must be submitted by September 20, 2026, to the following email address: migrapriv.seminaire@gmail.com. You may contact us in advance to obtain additional information about the requirements.

Proposals must include: a title, an abstract of between 2,000 and 2,500 characters (including spaces), and 3 to 5 keywords.
