This issue showcases recent ethnographic research that explores the different facets of living with disasters through the lens of knowledge production and reproduction. The papers provide discussions from different groups and communities, from the context of cyclones in Australia and India, and flooding in the Argentinian city of Santa Fe, to Hurricane Katrina and the BP Oil Spill in Rural Louisiana.
