From 11 to 12 September 2025, AgeNet organized a small, interactive, and cross-disciplinary gathering in Bratislaca, with 20 participants united around the goal of reimagining participatory approaches in ageing research and to grow the AgeNet community.
This two-day, hands-on workshop was designed for researchers and practitioners working in ageing studies who want to engage with participatory approaches. With an interdisciplinary team of experts, we engaged in exploratory exercises and practical skill-building in:
– Co-designing and shared decision-making with older adults and people with special needs
– Using audiovisual, creative, and multisensory methods
– Sharing experiences and refining methods together
