Oxford Brookes University is now accepting project proposals for postgraduate research to nominate for the Sasakawa Postgraduate Studentship Programme. Candidates may pursue a PhD, MPhil/PhD or Master’s by Research (1-yr). The maximum amount for each Studentship is £15,000 (£7,500 for part-time study) for one year. For PhD awardees, there is a possibility for re-nomination for up to 2 additional years (subject to the candidate’s progress and the continuation of the programme). Awards are typically applied to pay tuition fees, but in some cases may be used to support fieldwork.
