Flying to Poznan

Poznan airport (POZ),The Lawica Henryk Wieniawski Airport (roughly 8km from the city centre) provides direct flights from 49 non-stop destinations from Cork and Lisbon in the west, Stockholm in the north and Dubai in the south.

Their providers include Ryanair, Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines, KLM and Wizz Air.

The usual method of travel from the airport to the city centre is by bus 159 which takes approximately 20 minutes ending at Kaponiera where you can transfer to other forms of transport depending on your accommodation destination.
 

Step-by-step guide from airport to Campus Morasko

1.Use the signs for Bus/Autobus to locate the stop – a short distance from the terminal

2. Buy a ticket opting for 90 minutes to ensure it covers the entire journey (including changes)

3. Take bus 159 towards Poznan Glowny ( main train station) Rondo Koponiera, takes approximately 20-25 minutes to Rondo Koponiera

4. From Rondo Kaponiera take a tram to Os. Sobieskiego, about 15 minutes to the final stop Osiedle Sobieskiego

5. Now transfer to bus 198 which leaves from the same transport hub to the Campus Morasko area

6. Get off at stops such as Kampus UAM Morasko or UAM Wydzial Fizyki
