Play and care space

The space will be set up in in the library of the Collegium Historicum (main venue of the confrence) with easy access for parents.
- We will sing popular simple songs and play group games, e.g. pass the bag, puns, dance and freeze, hide and seek. We call it “circle time” and we find it helps to break the ice and puts everyone in a good mood.
- In the arts and crafts section there will be a space for drawing, colouring, painting, some play dough fun and creative play.
- In the building section (with lots of blocks!) children will play by themselves or in groups. There will be a separate space for older kids to play Lego.
- In the board games corner, children will get the opportunity to play popular games, e.g. Ludo, Uno, Puzzles, Memory Games.
- For those who want to spend some alone time, there will be a reading nook filled with a selection of books: Maps, Guinness World Records Book, Ultimate Dino-Pedia, Super Heros Guide, Animals of the World etc. A selection of funny, colourful stories for toddlers.
- A special play area will include a tent and a tunnel. The space will be filled with pillows and blankets so children can have a rest – or build a fort!
- Artistic activities include theatre (e.g. puppet show) and music (singing and dancing).
- In case of nice weather some age-appropriate outdoor activities may be available.
