The EASA Academic Mentorship Programme was launched for the academic year 2024-2025 and is currently in its second, 2025-2026 edition. This free, and fully remote, mentorship programme aims to provide academic guidance and support for early-to mid-career scholars depending on their career stage and needs while facilitating long-lasting relationships with mentors and mentees. The mentorship programme is open to early-to mid-career scholars, including late-PhD students, postdocs, contingent faculty, and assistant professors who have received their PhDs no more than 8 years ago. Applications from underrepresented groups and those with limited institutional support for their professional development were especially encouraged was prioritized in the selection process.

The 2025-2026 edition of the mentorship programme takes place from September 2025 until August 2026. There will be a total of eight meetings consisting of three one-on-one mentor-mentee sessions foreach semester (six in total) and two group meetings with all mentors and mentees. The first group meeting took place online in 2025. The second group meeting will take place over lunch during the EASA 2026 conference in Poznan.

The 2025 -2026 edition of the programme is coordinated by Dr. Sultan Doughan and Dr. Panas Karampampas. Mentees and mentors will receive a certificate of completion upon the conclusion of the programme.
