The Future of Food Anthropology – Defining Priorities for 2050

The world of food anthropology is at a crossroads. As climate change, biodiversity loss, and socio-economic transformations reshape food systems, our discipline must meet the challenges of the coming decades. 
The EASA Anthropology of Food Network offers the opportunity of sharing your insight and developing the debate organizing the workshop “Anthrofood 2050”
This workshop contributes to define the future of food anthropology:
🔎 What role should food anthropology play in shaping sustainable and just food futures?
🔎 What research agendas must be advanced to make a meaningful impact?
🔎 What new methodologies do we need to understand emerging food systems?
We invite researchers at all career stages to contribute short (10 min) reflections engaging with themes such as:

✅ Food Heritage & Identity
✅ Tourism & Culinary Cultures
✅ Health, Nutrition & Policy
✅ Food Access & Inequality
