The President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences announces a selection procedure for the position of Director of the organization:
Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, public research institution

Required Qualifications
The minimum required qualification is a completed third-level university degree with the academic title PhD or its equivalent.
Required Management Experience
The minimum required experience is five years of management experience in a legal entity carrying out activities pursuant to Section 1(4) of Act No. 243/2017 Coll. on Public Research Institutions and on amendments and supplements to certain acts.
List of Documents to be Submitted by Applicants
The application must include at least the following documents:
- a curriculum vitae in Europass format (https://europa.eu/europass/sk/create-europass-cv) or another format containing at least the same scope of information;
- documents proving completed education, obtained academic titles, and awarded scientific qualification;
- documents confirming previous management experience;
- documents demonstrating scientific achievements, including a list of publications and, where applicable, documents relating to industrial property rights arising from the applicant’s scientific activity;
- a written presentation outlining the proposed concept and management of the organisation;
- an affidavit declaring that the applicant did not participate in the process of proposing, electing, or appointing members of the selection committee;
- an extract from the criminal record not older than three months;
- in the case of a foreign applicant, a certificate of good conduct equivalent to a criminal record extract issued by the competent authority of the country of permanent residence or habitual residence, not older than three months, together with its officially certified translation;
- an official translation is not required for documents issued in the Czech language.
Language Requirement
For applicants who are foreign nationals, knowledge of the Slovak language at a level necessary for the performance of the position in the Slovak Republic will be assessed during the interview.

Salary Conditions
Salary conditions are governed by Act No. 553/2003 Coll. on remuneration of certain employees performing work in the public interest and on amendments and supplements to certain acts.
