It has been a busy few months at EASA and the executive committee: The conference proceedings for EASA2014 starting in Tallinn, our journal, Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale, is thriving, we have a new EASA book series editor.
An introduction and a call for submissions for edited collections and monographs.
EASA is searching for new editors to take over from the current team. Â

The end of 2013 was a busy period for many of EASA networks who are now reporting back to EASA members.
It’s that time of year again and we’ll be invoicing you shortly for your 2014 membership subscriptions.
The first volume of the 2014 issue will be mailed out shortly. If you have recently changed you address please ensure you have updated the data we hold in Cocoa, now!

Gerd Baumann 13/11/1953 – 15/01/2014: It is with great sadness that we announce the death of anthropologist Gerd Baumann on 15 January 2014. Baumann was a member of EASA’s Executive Committee from 1997 to 2000, holding its Chair in the years 1999-2000. We wish to express our sincere condolences to his family.
