CVs and resumes are two distinct documents used by those looking for a job. You will learn how and why they differ and to know when one is preferred over the other. Using the STAR method, you will create a series of stories about the projects, volunteering, and paid work you have done which demonstrate your accomplishments. You will learn how to use action-oriented terms to describe your various roles and the impact you had on people and organizations you affected. Finally, you will learn the importance of matching language on your resume to the job description keywords to pass screening systems.
