Deadline: 15 Oct 2025

The European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA) invites applications from members interested in shaping the future of public anthropology in Europe.

The WGPA was established in 2025 to implement EASA’s Strategic Plan and support public-facing, ethical, and creative engagement beyond academia. We are now seeking four new members to join the founding liaisons for a renewable two-year term (October 2025 – September 2027).

We are inviting applications which outline how you wish to contribute to the WGPA over the coming years and which experience you bring to the role. Please refer for more information to the Working Group’s aims, structure, and strategy here: EASA Working Group for Public Anthropology (WGPA)

Deadline: 15 October 2025
To apply, please send in a cover letter (max 2 pages) in which you outline how you would like to contribute to the WGPA and what your vision for Public Anthropology in EASA is, making reference to our call for applications, and a CV (max 3 pages) in one PDF to Jonas Tinius via secretary@easaonline.org with the subject line “WGPA Application”
