Zuzanna Nalepa

Zuzanna Nalepa specialises in anthropology of postindustrialism, especially in the context of anthropology of work, urban and memory studies. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her doctoral research focuses on former workers of the porcelain factory in Chodzież, Poland, and draws on biographical narrative interviews, microhistory, ethnographic observation, and walking-and-talking methodologies. She is also interested in the tangible and intangible industrial heritage, including the anthropology of things and labour folklore. She received her MA in 2023. Her master’s research was situated within acoustemology and sound studies.
