Gosia is an ecological anthropologist who specialises in freshwater conservation and public understanding of local environments. She completed her PhD as part of the EU 7th Framework Programme project, researching megaprojects and mega events; co-founded the Centre for Energy and Environmental Challenges at AMU to encourage interdisciplinary discussion and cooperation. Following Whitehead, she believes that academia’s role is to create the future. Currently thinking about locality, home-making and drought.
