Here is the recording of our third CSP Online Lectures 2025-2026.
We were honored to receive Dr. Manéli Farahmand, Director of the Centre intercantonal d’information sur les croyances and Associate Researcher at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), and Dr. Denise Lombardi, Lecturer at the École pratique des hautes études and the Institut Catholique de Paris, and Associate Researcher at the Groupe Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités (France). Their presentation, entitled “Neo-Shamanisms in Perspective: Individual, Global, and Identity Dynamics”, was based on their respective books: Manéli Farahmand, “Néo-chamanisme maya” (Éditions Antipodes, 2022); Denise Lombardi, “Le néo-chamanisme. Une religion qui monte?” (Éditions du Cerf, 2023).
This CSP Online Lecture was chaired by Dr. Margaret Brady (École des hautes études en sciences sociales, France).
