Hannah Wadle is a social anthropologist trained in the UK and Germany. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona in the ECR project FOODCIRCUITS and an assistant professor in social anthropology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her fieldwork spans rural Poland, Germany, and Romania, with migrant food workers, farmers, agri-business managers, tourists, and heritage activists. She studies how class, race, and whiteness are reproduced and contested in food supply-chains, tourism, heritage, and higher education, and how affective regimes and moral frictions shape post-Cold-War longings. She uses experimental, collaborative, activist methods.
