Natalia Bloch is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology and the Centre for Migration Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. She specialises in the anthropology of mobility, with a focus on migration and asylum regimes and the intersections of various forms of spatial mobility. She conducted research in Tibetan refugee settlements, among mobile workers of the informal tourism sector, and on forced displacement from a UNESCO site in India. In Poland, she has worked on collective accommodation and private hosting of Ukrainian war refugees.
