Ruxandra Ana

Ruxandra Ana is a social anthropologist whose research focuses on cultural heritage in relation to labor practices, entrepreneurship, migration, and social change in Cuba. Her doctoral and postdoctoral projects were funded by the Polish National Science Center and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. She has published articles in History and Anthropology, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Identities, Dance Research Journal, Leisure Studies, and Ethnologia Europaea among others. She is currently (2024–2026) a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews.
