Anthropology of Crime and Criminalisation
The EASA Anthropology of Crime and Criminalisation network (AnthroCrime) was created in 2021 to reinvigorate anthropological debates on crime and criminalisation in academic and public circles. Lively debates during an international workshop in October 2020 convinced us to establish this European network to develop and expand collaborations and support cutting-edge initiatives that study crime and criminalisation within anthropological frameworks. AnthroCrime aims to connect European anthropologists interested in these issues also with scholars outside Europe, and to create activities and collaborations with adjacent disciplines.
