Dear friends of the Regard Bleu Ethnographic Film Festival
We would like to draw your attention to the Call for Films for the Regard Bleu [1] film festival at the Ethnographic Museum at the University of Zurich. The 16th edition takes place from the 14th to the 16th of March 2025 in Zurich. The Call for Films is open until the 1st of January 2025. We are still welcoming captivating audiovisual student productions!
Please share our call for films with your networks of filmmakers, students, anthropologists, and film enthusiasts!
We invite you with this edition to "Enter (the) Space" -- we dare you to step beyond the familiar and dive into the unexpected! We are looking for films and audiovisual works that explore the uncharted territories of human experience: Spaces that incite, irritate, or inspire us. These are the in-between realms where we encounter the unknown, challenge our perceptions, and discover surprising connections.
The Regard Bleu Ethnographic Film Festival itself embodies this interspace. It bridges filmmakers and audiences, arts and sciences, ideas and approaches. It is a vibrant platform of encounter and dialogue. As such, we welcome student film productions that inspire and connect all kinds of possible spaces. From classic documentaries to experimental approaches that challenge the genre: We welcome works from the social sciences as much as from the arts and other disciplines.
