The position of the Book series editor is for a maximum of four years (2025-2028).

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of European anthropology through leading EASA’s book publishing programme, including the development of ‘no fee’ Open Access book initiative.

The role involves working with potential authors and editors to solicit ideas and projects, and then providing feedback on proposals, and working with Berghahn books as they commission reviewers and oversee production. The editor will also work with the EASA committee, providing an annual report, and helping to launch new books at EASA conferences.

The editor would be expected to be an EASA member and have editorial experience. A travel budget is provided.

Applications consisting of a short covering letter and a CV, should be sent to the Secretary, Monica Heintz, on monica.heintz(at)gmail.com by 2 December 2024.
