(Deadline tomorrow!): Call for curatorial projects and audiovisual interventions & cfp for the GASCA conference 2025 in Cologne
Dear All,
This is a kind reminder to submit a curatorial project, audiovisual intervention, or film for the exhibition we are organising as part of the biannual conference of the German Association of Social and Cultural Anthropology (GASCA/DGSKA). The conference will take place in Cologne from 29 September to 2 October 2025.
You can find the Call for Curatorial Projects and Audiovisual Interventions for Out of Focus: Un/Commoning Curatorial Practices through Multimodal Engagements, which will be held at the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum in Cologne, here: https://tagung.dgska.de/en/projects-%c2%b7-interventions/
To submit your proposal, please upload it under P071 at this link: https://tagung.dgska.de/en/workshops-roundtables-labs/#16288 . Additionally, feel free to send us a PDF with further information about your project. Since exhibition space is limited, we will select submissions based on their alignment with the conference theme and their fit with the available spaces.
Alongside the exhibition, we are hosting a workshop titled Un/Commoning Media and Curatorial Practices to discuss some of the exhibited projects as well as others that were not included in the exhibition. More details can be found here: https://tagung.dgska.de/en/workshops-roundtables-labs/#16037
The deadline for submissions is 15 January 2025 (tomorrow)
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to receiving your proposals!
All the best,
The Curatorial and Convenor Team
Anja Dreschke, Simone Pfeifer, Anna Lisa Ramella, Beatrix Hoffmann-Ihde
