Finding Accommodation in Barcelona

Barcelona is a notoriously popular tourist destination, and in the height of summer has the added attraction of being on the coast, with beautiful beaches. It has direct flight and boat connections to several countries, and despite the July heat you will find it is very busy. While there are many accommodation options available, it would be wise to start booking early to find the best option for you.

There are two main conference venues:

A number of hotels in Barcelona in easy reach of the conference venue (either by foot or public transport) are offering a special price to EASA2024 conference participants for the conference week (23 to 26 July 2024). The Barcelona Turisme board has a whole section dedicated to finding accommodation in the city.
Around Plaza España, and further down Gran Via, in the area of Fira de Barcelona, in l´Hospitalet del Llobregat, there are many reasonably priced hotels well communicated with the city centre.

Needless to say, you can simply google “budget accommodation Barcelona” or “luxury pad rent Barcelona” and see what turns up.
