Lunch Options
The numerous difficulties related to comfortably accommodating 2000 people for lunch in the centre of Barcelona, prompted the decision to not provide lunch for conference attendees. As compensation, we will provide a lunch stipend for funded low-income attendees. This has also allowed for a general reduction of the fees.
In practical terms, there are plenty of lunch options around the conference premises; we offer a list of a few places we can recommend, but there are many others.
First of all, the university canteen at UB (within the university building in which the panel sessions are scheduled) It is cheap and convenient, and open all day. Next to the canteen, there are some tables and microwaves for attendees who want to bring and heat their own food.
