Another Summer - documentary screening in London

What future is there when your past was destroyed? Another Summer explores the lives of Afghan and Ukrainian refugees in Europe. Through training and equipment provided by the directors, first-time refugee filmmakers capture stories of people like themselves, sharing untold struggles, resilience, and humanity.

Another Summer, a feature documentary film made by Alzbeta Kovandova-Bartonickova, David Edwards and their Afghan and Ukrainian students, will be screened in the UK for the first time! First, the film will be shown at FACT Liverpool on the 19th of November. Here you can book a (free) ticket: https://www.fact.co.uk/film/another-summer?x-craft-preview=OsovTJjjD2&token=vOuZSqvJImhbG8ZSovAsXEpn68afeM4f Then there will be two screenings in London. One will take place at the London City University on Thursday 21st at 6pm (please email Alzbeta on alzbeta.kovandova@gmail.com for more details). A Q&A session will follow. Then the film will be screened at the Czech Embassy in London (26-30 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8 4QY) on Friday, November 22nd, at 4 pm, as part of the International Film Festival Women and the World. A Q&A will follow the screening.
