2 chapters needed for upcoming handbook of ethnog. film
Dear colleagues,
I am looking to add two chapters to the upcoming 2nd ed. of the Handbook of Ethnographic Film and Video: a chapter on "green" filmmaking and a chapter on feminist ethnographic film.
The chapter on green filmmaking will ideally cover sustainability in the process of filmmaking, ecologically response-able production practices, and environmental ethics. The chapter on feminist ethnographic film will ideally cover feminist theory-informed strategies for addressing and presenting gendered narratives, positionality, etc.
If you are interested or know someone who might be, please get in touch. Chapters are intended to be brief, but turnaround will be short.
